Stittsville Villa retirement-home concerts
Performer since Grade 5/6, MC since Grade 8, and organizer from May 2023 through December 2025. Last hosted December 14, 2025.
The role
I coordinated with recreation staff, recruited performers, arranged lineups and hosted approximately 3–4 seasonal concerts per year. Each concert lasted about an hour, with 3–4 hours of preparation.
Audience engagement
After noticing attention fading, I introduced intermission trivia. Residents responded enthusiastically, with better engagement. This is a qualitative observation, not a measured performance statistic.

Planning, communication and adapting a live event to its audience. Photos and supporting materials can be added later with appropriate permission.
